KeyCon's "Mardi Gras Social"..

Saturday, March 6, 2004, KeyCon held their "Mardi Gras Social" at Club
Happenings and it was the perfect chance to get out with the girls for
and evening of dancing and socializing.
Like always, it was a lot of picking and choosing about what to wear, and finaly I chose my new leather mini skirt with a navy blouse, fishnets and stillettoes! The perfect dancing outfit :-)
I met Chantal there at about 9:00 PM, and Vanessa wasn't too far behind. So after finding our way to a table, and getting something to drink, it was time to get down to some serious dancing. My daughter was already there, and was dancing up a storm. Gee, even the Energizer Bunny couldn't keep up with her!!
The social was a lot of fun and there were already lots of people there I knew. My ex and her husband, two girls I used to work with, Leamber and Sherry, and Sherry's friend Andrew were there as well, plus a lot of other people I've met at other KeyCon functions. So between visiting with friends and dancing the night away on 4 1/2 inch heels, a great time was had by all.
Since my daughter and he mother had to work early, so I offered to give them a ride home. Andrew asked if he could tag along which was cool with me. On our way back to the social, Chantal called to say that she and Vanessa had left, so we didn't have to go back. Andrew offered to take me out for dinner, so I just couldn't refuse more "girl-time". After doing some thinking, we dicided on Papa Georges in Osborne Village, since it was open till 4AM!

Although the restaurant was busy, we didn't have to wait for a table long. It was such a cool feeling, sitting there in a leather mini skirt, fishnets and stilletoes!! Andrew knew the waiter, who was kind enought to take a pic of us at the table:-) After enjoying a nice dinner and conversation, I drove Andrew to his place and headed of into the night, not wanting the evening to end!
